Hey guys,


first rap track i've ever done. my role was as engineer/mix. tell me what you think. i do listen to a fair amount of hiphop, but as this is my first rap project, i just wanted to know if i'm headed in the right direction with this.

there's a possibility of doing an 8 or 10 track album with one of the two guys, so i need to know whether i'm making any big mistakes with this..

Listened to this on my pc speakers, the bassline had my sub humming pretty good, usually that means its a lil bass heavy on monitors. I'll tranfer it to my music PC and list again this week end. sounds nice and EastCoast gritty though

and that was me having turned the bass down a bit already! the guy who made the beat was pretty adamant he wanted me to make the bass banging..so thats what i did!!

anyone else listened to it yet...any comments??
