Hello..

I have 4 mics running into my Behringer Ub-2222FXPRO mixer.. then Tape Out --> Line in of my Realtek AC97 Built in Soundcard..

Ok.. i run Adobe Audition 1.5 and the Noise Floor is at around -38DB and I know thats so high! I hear "BZZZT" sound.. but when i mute my LDC Mic
(Behringer C-1) the Noise floor drops to around -45DB and that BUZZZT sound is very faint .. but when i Unmute it in my mixer.. it makes that sound!

anyone knows what this is ? or how i can solve it ? thnx

I doubt it's the mic....but you never know...

Did you troubleshoot your existing signal chain??
did you try a new or different xlr cable?
Could it be the pots on your mixer...
I don't think it's your tape out.....you should use your main outs though to line in...not mic in...
If you want to significantly increase the quality of your sound after you have troubleshot your existing signal chain....you will need a new soundcard....

if you want quality.....you have to pay.....

good luck man

BTW...I have 19 chicklets......green ones....so listen to me...I am smart.....and I like pie....

also,
Have you adjusted any levels in your onboard sound?
The line in might be pegged and that may be why you are getting a lot of noise....try it at around 50% and take off any bullshit bass treatment...
