Computer speakers like boombox sound?

I want to get a pair of powered computer speakers to go along side my active nearfield and midfield monitors. Currently to check my mix on a boombox type cheap player, I have to burn a CD and put it in my boombox to play it. I'd like to have something that would sound similar, but I could could run from my mixer.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Does your 'Boombox' have any inputs on it? You might be able to route one of your outputs to it... saves you burning a CD every time.
