Computer/Reference Amp Connections

I want to hook up an Alesis RA100 to my computer and amplify what I record into Guitar Tracks Pro. Do I just use a stereo cable/adapter that I can plug into my Soundblaster Live sound card on one end and with 1/4" mono plugs on the other end that will plug into the left and right inputs on the RA100? Do I need a preamp or will this setup work?

Yup, that's correct -- the output is line level. You need a cable with one 1/8" stereo miniplug on one end and two RCA plugs on the other.
