:o Hello everyone,my name is Ronald Leslie aka phatdaddy.
I'm an old kat trying to get into this new game.
I play a little guitar and am trying to learn to use computer recording
software. I have Acid Pro4 on my computer and can't make it do a thing.
I also have Fruityloops3 and can't make it do anything either as well as band
in a box which I hate(sounds like a cheap keyboard).
I know I could sit and read and work at making this stuff work but I'm not
getting any younger, and I know you young shreders out there have this stuff
down. I'm also looking a Cake Walk 2,any info would be appreciated. Come on
guys help an old kat out.

The problem with this is that it's easier to show someone a program than describe it in written form.

Hmmm, maybe I could start an ACID Pro class....

I'd help you out, but I'm as old as you are. ;)

Didn't the software come with a book? It's a novel about a Mexican guy named "Manual". :D

Basically, the idea is that you connect a sound source to an audio input on the computer, use the software to connect a track to that same input, and press "record".

Ask more specific questions, and I think you'll find this place very helpful.
