I was just wondering if their was anyway of using my keyboard (the one i type with on my computer) as a midi controler for the soft synths that I have in Sonar. I really dont want to buy a controller but i hate using the mouse. Is their anyother way to go about doing this?

Do a search on Google for "virtual piano", should give you plenty of information.

I remember Cakewalks Virtual Piano that came with PA9 (or was it PA8?) did that job, but I never got it working on Win2000...

VP came with my Sonar but not installed by default. Does it only work with Win98/ME?
If you have a games Joystick (analog) there are a couple of progs that allow one to work as a controller. Don't have a link but Midijoys is one (free) - could be handy for filter sweeps & such.
