I am a dj and have been doing t for a while, but i am new to recording, so if u can help me out, i 'd appreciate it.... Well I hear that when you record like a mix or something to your computer, you should use a compressor to make it sound better.. is it worth it or should i just keep recording through the line in w/out a compressor... if a compressor is better for my situation... which compressor do you recommend, i am tight on $$$ right now, thanx

Don't do it. Get the volume of each tune right going in, and don't squash the tunes with a compressor.

pAp.

p.s. What kind of music ?

If you need a compressor, most people hear swear by the RNC. Here is a review.

You can also consider software compressors.
