Hi everyone, I'm relatively new here and haven't had much luck finding an exact answer to my question.
I'm looking to record an acoustic album on my little Tascam PortaStudio 424 MKIII. What I have is, the Tascam, an old Shure SM57, and a couple of ancient guitar stomp boxes (delay, compressor/limiter, etc.). I am running both the compressor/limiter and delay through my effects loop out from the mixer but it doesn't really seem to be doing much. Essentially, I'm not getting the vox effects I am looking for. My question is, can anyone recommend a cheap effects processor that has say, Reverb, Delay and Compression on it that I can run the Vox and possibly the guitar through? Any other suggestions would be great as well. Thanks a lot!
