Compressor Question.

I've got a DBX266XL, and it seems to do the job OK (granted my frame of reference isn't huge). The only drama I have seems to be the gating is very noisy. It's entirely possible that its all operator error, but it makes some nasty clicks when I compress guitars and basses. Still, I can't complain - it was a fair bit cheaper than the Behringer unit.

Well while we're on mentioning other compressor brands which rarely get mentioned, how 'bout Presonus? I own a Presous ACP-8 which I like for drums (mainly toms).
