Compressor Plug Ins

I'm using various compressor plug ins and so far impressed with the quality from some of them. I'm not in a position to compare the plug ins to an outboard unit. Any comments on comparisons would be greatly appreciated.

All the ones I have used have been far short of most mid level outboard compressors I have used. They all remind me of the Yamaha O2R comps, they don't do anything until they do too much. Which plugins are you using?

I hate to sound like I work for them, but ProRec has a few great articles on compression, as well as an article called "Compressor shootout"(i think) which compares various software compressors to their hardware brethren...
