ok i bought a cheapy compressor/limiter thing. a behringer ultramizer pro/dsp1400p. I Have a multi tracker with only one aux send return jack ( its a trs so i have to use a y cable to 1 input and 1 output ) i connected it to the right channel of the behringer ( i can only connect it to one side b/c of the trs and y cable i must use, which will work fine) but heres the problem. i am plugged in ONLY To the right.... but the signal is bleeding onto the left meter on the compressor. the store seems to think the compressor is defective... anyone else?

Sounds like it might be. It's not because of a 'stereo link' button is pushed maybe? (Just a thought)
What if you patch the other (unused chanel) of the compressor into a new chanel on your mixer/recorder and see if you get any of the bleed there?

no stereo link button. I tried the other channel thing already, same thing. Thanx for the reply though. I am glad to hear someone else thinks its the compressor to b/c i dont want to send it back for nothing!
