Compression and Loops

Okay I'm SURE this has been poste before, just not sure where.....but basically if i record with my rack mounted compressor and loop something i get a pop at the loop. I suppose there is a way to sort it in the audio editor- im using cubase 3- but i'm not sure how...is it something to do with Punch Ins? Thanks.

You can grab the handle at the end of the loop to resize it (bottom handle - top handle is for fade) Also search the manual for "zero crossing".
