hi i have been recording for about ayear or so now and i have been using compression and limiting quite a bit and quite successfully too. However, all my work in such areas is mainly intuitive. i mess around with it until it sounds good; herein lies my problem: my understanding of how compressing and limiting work is somewhat vague. does anyone have some pointers or links on discussions of the topic? thanks!
