Hi guys!

I decided to post my new-recorded album here to hopefully hear two or three opinions.
Basically it's Alternative/Progressivemetal I guess but it's probably interesting also for other genre-fans cause I tried to record relatively compact songs in which the Progressive-elements are just a means to an end.
It's NOT a concept-album or anything like that but the lyrics are quite cool anyway, you can find them in the booklet which is included in the download.
I play all instruments and sing and also write the songs.
Whoever has any interest in this stuff can either check four songs out at facebook.com/seekingraven
Or listen to the whole album (what I suggest of course ;)) also via the Facebook-page by just clicking on the banner (the black one with the raven).
I mean, come on, it's for free :)

Like I said, I'd love it if just one person tried this. Sadly it's very hard to get people to really LISTEN to new music in these fast-moving times.
"Likes" on Facebook are welcome too, of course, but my main goal is to just get any feedback ;)

See you, guys!

I think you have some great ideas there man. I like it. Many things seem to jump out in your mix though. Lacking the 'glue' needed to fit it all together. But that is just my opinion.

Welcome to the forum! :D

I know exactly what you mean with the "lacking of the glue" mate :D
But I don't really know how to make this aspect any better... Next time I guess^^
And thanks for welcoming me, also sorry for chosing the wrong place for the thread at first, this board is quite big u know ;)

It's cool man. Hey man, I got some extra time on my hands. How about you send me individual waves for each track of a tune, and I'll throw you a free mix. Get a different perspective. Sounds like fun. :)

Of EACH track? Your sure? Thats's really A LOT :D
Plus, I didn't order/name them well, so I'd need a little time to place them in correct order and send to ya...
Just tell me what u think and if you're really sure you'd like to do this, it'd be really a lot of work :D

Yeah man. Do it all the time. It's easy. Just make sure to export each track starting at the same spot. No need to put in any order. Just name them (bass, rhythm gtr left, etc). Be sure to disable any effects. 24 bit wav files. Do you have individual tracks of the drums, or just a stereo track?

What is your DAW? If Cubase, it will be much simpler. PM me dood. :)
