I think you'd be better off tracking it yourself than getting someone else to mix and master it.

i stab you.
tracking is more important, if less glamorous.

i love that, "hey, we recorded this at home...... can you make it sound like it was done by some one with more experience, better rooms and equipment"?

"NO".

this is craziness...i used to live in pacifica

and yea, that looks like a pretty nice studio for $50/hr.

come to me and i'll track for $10, lol

Woah! I've been to pescadero plenty!! Cool! Sorry though, nmo beer for me....Im 17 :D Hm.... Taco and beer on kelley ave....can you be talking about Tres Amigos? That place seems to have a cult following

Woah, and someone from pacifica! Sucks Devils Slide is closed..... I used to go up there all the time to go to Dennys......But not anymore. It takes too long now. :(

yea, i heard the slide...well, slid again. what happened to the tunnel and all that crap that they were gonna build? i haven't lived there for 10 years, so i'm not too up to date on the state of the highway, or lack of one. now i live a little north of san luis obispo, in atascadero...nice and close to the state hospital and all its crazies...

and now to get back on topic...i don't know how professional of a place you're trying to get into, but i'm in the process of building a small studio right now, and to start out am offering up my services for $10/hr to track, and $10/track for mixing/mastering. i don't have manley EQ's and U47's at my disposal, but i have all the essentials, and the gear that i do have is pro quality albeit not top-top-notch. again, i don't know if this is anything you'd be interested in, especially seeing how i'm about 3 hours away from you...but i could definitely do the job for a hell of lot less than $10,000! www.myspace.com/ironkladaudio has the details if interested.
