Hey kids... just wondering what kind of comments you have about Aardvark cards. I had never heard of them before the past week or so, and I was checking out their site, and it looks like they have some nice stuff.

In particular, I am thinking about the new Direct Pro LX6, which, according to the cust. service rep I emailed, will be available this week. Since they aren't even out yet, I can't read reviews, though it seems to be the same as the 24/96, but without the mic pre's.

It looks great - 24/96, spdif in/out, 4 analog in/out, midi, and a DSP for no latency compression, eq and reverb. For about $350 retail, which is about the same as a Midiman Delta 66.

So, I'm just wondering about people's experience with the Aardvark cards in general. Any and all comments welcome.

Thanks!!!

The card is very nice. It sounds clean - clean. The software "mixer" interface is too small and can't be maximized. If they could make the virtual mixer more functional by adding "key bindings" or "hot keys: then it would be the bomb - -but it is worth it any way.
