I'm using linux (fedora 20) and I'm looking for the correct console command to send a 'start-play' signal to an external midi sequencer. The sequencer is connected using an E-mu 2x2 midi box which in turn is connected to the fedora pc by usb. The e-mu box works fine and is recognised by the fedora machine. What's the command I need?
