Hi guys, it's been along time since I played this one. Is the time sig 4/4 or 6/8?

I'm just curious. What difference would it make to you what the time signature is? I mean, if you can play the song's chords and feel, you don't really need to know the time sig. If you are writing it out for someone, you'd figure out pretty quickly it'd be alot easier to write it without all those little 3s all over the place.

I just can't figure out why you'd want the time signature before you had the sheet music anyway.

It's 12/8 by the way. Why the hell would someone write out triplets all over 4/4 unless it was in some kiddie songbook publisher that was afraid to scare off little fingers from attmepting playing it from the intimidating double digit signature? Even if you counted "one and a two and a three and a four and a", it's still 12/8, not 4/4.

Yes, kiddies songbook is what I'm remembering. It was very hard putting it into the sequencer in that time signature, but it worked. It probably would have been easier in 12/8 as stated before, but I didn't find 0out until after the fact. Anyways it still worked out.

Thanks for all the input,
