Hey it's a different language in different parts of the country here! Don't worry about it! There's a certain strain of 'street' cockney spoken in London that I just don't understand at all.

I get that when I travel to the deep south in the states.

I spent 4 months in Pascagula Mississippi. I felt like I was on another planet! :eek:

what the hell were those gypsy guys in the movie "snatch"? Brad Pitt played one... anyway...

I can drive down the street and talk to hicks with southern accents so thick I can barely understand them, at the same time their neighbor has no detectable drawl (detectable by me anyway)...

Very schizo around these here parts...

And speaking of schizo, I can understand the spirit of Mr. 60's post, but at the same time, at some point in the future, when I have a mix that I think is up to par, I appreciate the fact that there will be no sugar-coating, and I will get the truth about my mistakes...

Maybe Jake needs to make his signature a disclaimer...for the unwary...lol

I remember it being awful, but then it was kinda supposed to be.

It couldn't have been worse than that Clownboy's stuff, and that guy was a shit hot pro (his words, not anyone else's. Like, literally, no-one else's).

Yeah, that song did suck in every way possible. In fact, I sucked at recording. All textbook and very little experience at the time. You guys were right, I was a total joke. One good thing came of all that--it did force me to re-evaluate everything and actually learn what I was doing. Dunno if I'm there yet, but I'm leagues away from the person I was that had crap for brains, no accomplishments of note, very little skill, and a big fat mouth that wouldn't shut up that thought he was "cool" because people gave him money to essentially screw up their record. I like to think I learned something since then; at the very least, how not to be a total waste of a human being.

Anyways, it is amazing how instructive hubris can be.

This place is supposed to be the "clinic". You know, like the clinic you go to when your leg hurts, but you don't know why. So you go to the clinic looking for a bit of help.....constructive help! If you went there and the Doctor said, "Oh, your leg hurts because you don't know how to fucking walk properly, idiot!" I'd imagine that would be right up there with telling a poster here that he/she should not post anything until it's finished or presentable.

People should be able to post here within the clinic regardless of what point their compostions or mixes are at presently and they should not have to fear the feral pack of dogs led by Jake-owa.

Has anyone else picked up on the fact that Jake seldom rips on anyone after he sees that someone else has responded positively to someone posting their music.

Jake's approach is...."I'll get there first...rip 'em...and my boys will back me up".

I'll give you some due respect, Jake. Sometimes you are spot on with your observations when critiquing. More often than not though, you let your foul mouth get way way ahead of your brain.

I've seen it posted that you dopes see abusing others as being, "Hey, this is fun".

How can you possibly be taken serious by anyone who reads that tripe? It's far beyond rational consideration for anyone to take you guys serious IMO.

Well, the internet being the way it is, full of thrill seekers and fun lovers, I'm probably nearly alone in saying that I don't appreciate the thrills you guys seem to reap by ripping others who at times exhibit more talent than yourselves.

You should be ashamed, but I know it isn't within you to feel shame of any sort for any reason.

Who knows, Jake and crew. Perhaps a few others will chime in...either to express themselves in your favor or in disapproval of your behavior.
