Clipping but not really?

I was recording some acoustic guitar. On playback I noticed that the Adat meters hit MAX a few times. I couldn’t hear any distortion. Perhaps the peak was so quick that I just cant hear it. I don’t want to have to go though the hassle of re-recording those tracks. I’m wondering if that’s acceptable. I’m ok with it but I don’t want the mastering engineer handing my project back to me and saying, "I cant work with this."

Adats usually have a tiny bit of headroom over max, so if you
cant hear any thing wrong in the form of distortion you should be fine.
PS. listen to it all by it self and make sure you dont hear the peaks.
