Clean Intro [mp3]

Unfinished Song (Intro)

I'm a complete newbie to the whole world of recording/mixing so I'm just wanting to get opinions on this initial stuff. I'm thinking about cutting that intro in half and leading it into a rock/distortion part.

Guitar/bass recorded through a toneport ux2 -> Sonar 5 and the drums were done with a Roland TD6S -> Midi -> Drumkit from Hell Superior -> Sonar 5.
 
Hate to say it, but the guitar starts off with the same arpeggio as one of Metallica's songs. Luckily it evens out later in the song. The bass isn't mixing well with the guitar, though. Here's a good book to get you oriented with everything in recording.
