D'Addario strings are pretty reliable. Augustine strings, contrary to what someone above said, are over-priced and crap to boot. THOSE strings NEVER stop stretching.

I've never tried the composites, but have always recommended the D'Addario Pro Arte J46 Extra hard Tension.

I've been ponding on this boy, picking with some of our bluegrassish tunes, for a few days. And it's really starting to keep it's tune real well. I like it. Only minor tweaking tonite. Kewl.
