Fiveironguy....that was great! Brings back Simon and Garfunkle memories. :)

Track....I listened to all your Christmas songs. Great Acoustic work! :)

It sounds cool Bruce but this tune is ruined for me. Everytime I hear it alls I can think of is "Ding, fries are done. Ding fries are done".

WOW!!!! Nice sounds all around. Very cool thread. I just might have to try something..... :D

I did this one back in '92 (early Midi experiments!)

Carol Of The Bells
Cool! This is one of those tunes that will immediately put you in the Christmas mood. :)

Pretty cool. Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem sounds like it should be played around the fire on the eve. :) Actually, that one and Oh Christmas Tree both also sound like something someone would do as part of the Christmas Carol program at the church. I'm a big fan of those carol programs. :)

Erik...that is a rocking bass line...nice sax too. :)

Why thank you, TE! I had to break out the old soprano for this one. I lleft my alto at work! :) I hate using sop. on anything other than classical -- too many people write it off as Kenny G automatically.

Thanks, bro! I decided to work a little on my vocoder. The carrier is just the pad changing the chords. The modulator is a drum computer set on a simple loop. That's what you hear in the intro and the ending. Fun stuff!! Thanks for the listen.

Great idea.

the old webby is still up too, though not updated. www.barnesaid.com

Cool idea :) It sounds like there was a good amount of time put into the recording. It's hard to mix all those different voices successfully!! People put lots of time in on just ONE voice! :)

Nice! I like the jam atmosphere on this one. I can imagine a bunch of guys sitting around a fire doing this. The multi-tracked vocals work nicely. I like the harmonies in the vocals too! I'm all about harmonizing everything...probably to a fault :)

At one time I was going to do REALLY rockin' versions of all the popular Christmas songs but then Trans-Siberian Orchestra happened and I gave up.... QUICKLY...
