Nice mix Joey!

You have plenty of fullness and clarity here. Drums sound generally good, but are so intricate during some of the changes that they distract a bit for me anyway. So many parts to this...really ambitious. Vocals are amazing and I love the tailing feedback on the guitars.

Great performance and production. I have very little advice this morning...hey, it's Sunday AM and I am really just happy to get in here and hear so many great tracks today!:D:cool:

Thanx Heat!
There are parts where the drums are a little hectic I guess, but then it is metal and this stuff is usually played by mad drummers.....:D I'm thinking of putting this as an opener on the CD because of the intro.
Appreciate your comments! :):):):)

Sounds good to me, as always. STRONG vox AGAIN you bastard.:D:D:D:D

Dude!! I love this--it's so epic! The harmonies--vox and guitar--add a great layer of texture. And I like the guitar switching from left to right behind the vocals.

In fact, this is full of killer guitar playing--never a dull second! Great song, great mix, great performance. You touring with this stuff soon or what???

Nah...ain't touring, haven't been a band for years now, kinda like it on my own. Of course if I could meet somebody like you who wants to have a bit of fun....:D. But I guess that pond in between is a little too big.....
Your comments are always greatly appreciated!

Mix sounds great dude. Nice and punchy low end and searing guitars. Vocals sound great as always. Great job!

I likes me some Progressive Powermetal and this is very satisfying. If you made an album I'd buy it.

Oh...dont forget to run it through l3 about 4 times or so.....those dynamics are killing me. :D

l3 is a waves plugin that some mastering engineers may use to brickwall recordings so they can fight the loudness war. I was joking. It sounds great the way it is.

Oh, you mean the L3 Limiter !
Well, i don't have the money to invest in something like that right now....:D
I do use the L2 though, but sparingly...:)

Hey Joey,
Sorry I hadn't posted on your song, I thought I had, but...:o
Good song man, I like your vocals (as usual) & great guitar work!!!! Maybe give me some pointers??? Good job!!!!

Thanks minerman!
I thought the guitar sound on your song was pretty good, nice and gritty. I have 4 tracks here panned left and right, 75 and 100. They're routed to a single bus and EQ'd, and i also put a very slight room reverb on them to give them some depth. Appreciate your comments! :):)

Thanks Joey,
That's kinda funny because when I changed my song, that's exactly how I panned my guitars too! I did add a "stereo wide" effect to the little "intro lead" guitars. Good song there Joey, great mix & awesome vocals!!!!
