Short on time, took a quick listen. Drums sound good, bass sounds too wide but has good tone. The vocals sound too low and out of place. They should be moved to the front. Nice tracking.
 
Thanks. That was my first attempt at cakewalk/computer. All I had before was a shitty 4-track. I recorded live and overdubed the guitars and vocals. I had alot of bass bleed through the overheads, thus the wide bass. It was a poor performance on the vocals. It was late and I wanted a reference for a rough mix. Thats why i burried them in the back. I plan on redoing those and adding some gang vocals. Once I'm happy with the results I plan on bringing the vocal up front with maybe a slight reverb. Thanks for the advice. It's a challenge learning the program so every little bit helps.
 
Pretty rocking tune dude. Like the riffs and drum sounds... have a raw sound. The vox don't sit right at all to my ears, but I just read in your post that's a scratch track. Track could use more bass volume. Guitar solo is cool, I like the split channel there. The track has some good potential man ;)

what snakedog said..................work on the vox...otherwise...I like it!!! :D
 
Any reason for the hard panned vocals?
Make them sound like they're just there for FX.
It'd have been better from a critique point of view to have no vox at all if they're just guides.
Is it me or was there a bit of wonky timing from the drums early on?
Generally a good beginning post updates please.
