just finished building it this week...im so proud!check it out
 
Cool...couple of acoustics questions though: how did you build the soffits? That can be a complete disaster if done wrong. I'm assuming that you worked from a good design. Also, they're mounted about 8" too high. It looks from the pictures like the cones are shooting right over your head. I'm not trying to be a downer here...just pointing out some potential pitfalls.

naw actually my ears and the speaker line up rather well.and as for the sofits,completely isolated from the frame.almost floating.surrounded by acoustic rubber,foam,and insulation.matter of fact thats just fabric and form around them.although u cant see that in the pics.low res

Good man. I see too many people just build a box and throw speakers into the wall, which can be an absolute disaster.
