Check out my beats www.myspace.com/jmarboys ... I'm more into southern hip hop, but I also do R&B and even a bit o' pop... please critique them if you can, I haven't been doing this for long so your advice would be kindly appreciated

I used the Roland Juno-G and the Triton le to make my music

can't say anything bad bout this, im feeling all of the beats on there. You must know some musictheory right? this is high quality stuff.

ps. i added you to my favorites. :D

I like your arrangements but if it were me and I were you I'd be looking for some better drum samples. Pretty good though.

I appreciate the reply.... I was thinking the same thing... I hate the drums, but I don't know where else to find good drums

Where do you go to get yours?

This is hip hop... you steal them where ever you can. Hear something you like... sample it... chop it... lay it in your sequencer.

Old soul vinyl is always a good place to pick up some drums...

Nice productions. Good keys. I'd say the best track mix/ drum wise is Feel It.

You have great melody, but if you spice up the drums and master everything I think you would get more attention. Get all the tools and knock em out.:D

Takin It Slow - Nice change up on the keys. That will give an artist some skills to catch those key change ups. And that's what you want. The drums is what need work. Need to feel that kick and bassline. Also, the mixing can be tighter. Otherwise you got talent.

I Dream - Ha! That's funny. Austin Powers track. I like the verse part cause you chopped it up more. I don't like samples that stick out in your face and you know what it is.

GDF - Again nice key work and arrangement. Again it's just the drums. Sometimes you'll find you spend more time on drums than anything else.

Some advice since you are making good melody and composing. COPYRIGHT them songs!!!

or just look for sound packs and download them, make your own drum patterns

this is what i feel. i love hip hop and your beats ars just crazyyy!
