Ive tried on numersous occasions (mostly just to add a little pizazz to my mixes) with no success to really speak of. After countless hours of work and frustration, all I can say is take the old fasioned approach and jam an xlr into the artists ear.(much better signal

To record air guitar:
1. First learn to play it
2. Play it well
3. Find a video camera
4. press record
5. playback and laugh depending on how good the player is.
