Cheap condenser mic to record loud live guitars

I would like suggestions for a sub-$100-$150 condenser mic for recording live guitar in grungy clubs. Was considering Behringer B-1 and CAD M37.

Thanks,

Only one mic comes to mind. Shure SM-57. $80-$90.

Dynamics

I have 57's and Audix D3's. Nuno Bettencourt gets great sound w/ 4033's live wanted to achieve same type of sound on a lower budget.

I record semi loud amps with 4033's all the time and they sound great but I've never been able to duplicate that with a cheap condensor. Hell, you can get a 4033 for $250-$300. Just get a pair. Warning! If you want to sound like Nuno, better get Nuno to play your tracks. Most of the sound comes from the player, not the mics.

Are his amps isolated? There must be a serious bleed-through situation in a live (especially a 'grungy' club:) ) application using the 4033... :)

Careful with SPL overloads! and leakage! and so on!

Try SM-57, Nuno can afford (or he could) thousands of 4033's.

Peace...
