Hey guys, I haven't really been into the cheaper side of recording in a while. I own a full recording rig but right now, it's all packed up. I'm building a house so I need something that I can do demos on and also do some practicing with videos. I'm using a laptop with XP but it also needs to work with a desktop using Vista 64. I'd also like for it to be compatible with Windows 7 64 bit.
I'd prefer USB just for flexibility purposes. I'd like for it to have a headphone output as well. Just an instrument in is fine but if it has one mic input, that might be cool too. Not necessary, though. I'd like to keep at about $100 to $120. I've been thinking of getting the Line 6 UX1 but I have Guitar Rig and don't really need the modeling stuff that comes with it.
Any suggestions? I need something reliable. I don't want to spend my time trouble shooting. Essentially, at a bare minimum, I need something to plug my guitar into my computer. That's pretty much it. Nothing too fancy.
