I just sold my 100 watt carvin, and bought a Peavey Bravo. The carvin was not practical, you could hear it a mile away, literaly.
I also bought a 50 watt weber mass to go with the Bravo to bring down the volume and still get harmonics if I want, hopefully it works.
Next on the list is a 7 to 10 band e.q., then I'll start with some effects.
Isn't it a smart Idea to get framiliar with your amp, before buying fx?
I was going to try to get a used me-50, but that has reverb on it, and distortion and the bravo has both of those. I know I want a delay, and a phazer, but haven't had much experience with anything else. Maybe another wah.
