Recently discovered the album "Headhunters" by Herbie Hancock. Inspired me to record a jam LOOSELY based around the totally awesome groove from "Chameleon" which leads off this great album. All synths done with my strat thru a ehx micro synth , ehx string 9 , and various filters in my pod go. Bass was my Squire classic 70s vibe thru pod with a filter effect. Drums are betamonkee funk loops. Its pretty sloppy, but was a lot of fun. The original by Herbie Hancock was a earworm for me for about a week o_O:ROFLMAO: almost had to try and record something to get it out :ROFLMAO: .

I can't give a detail review, but on the speakers I have, and I listen a lot on these speakers, it seems a little on the bright side. It is very clean, nothing harsh I cans hear, but seems a little darker would serve it well. other than that, good tune.

I am driving towards more synth focused music, that is what compelled me to listen. Bass sounding pretty funky (good), what was the guitar setup? It cut through real easy. (y)

Thanks , used my 2005 american standard strat (S,S,H) into a pod go, the microsynth, string 9 pedals where in the loop of the pod, Amd models I used where a Fender deluxe , and a Roland jazz chorus. Bass also thru pod go, ampeg bass amp model , and a filter from the pod go , forgot which one.
