CD burning software for mac?

ok so i have tracks made now i need to burn them into a demo....
i am on a imac G5 so windows burning software does not work what is out there for me to use? i need to set fades and time the pause in tracks, that sort of thing.. what works well? thanks guys
 
You can do that with Roxio Toast with Jam I think; maybe not the fades. I do most of my editing in the main DAW program and then just use I-Tunes to burn CDs.
 
I would've thunk that even in the Mac world that a burner would come with at least some basic burning software. No?

sure it does and its alright if you want just some basic stuff but i want to run things off with my gaps and all the happy good stuff that you can do when you are in control more so than when you just run off a CD in the little finder window or in the media player iTunes. still looking.
i have found that i like the idea of Toast Jam and also i am downloading some open source stuff for kicks.

I'm also using an i-Mac G5. Nice machine!

I've always used Roxio's Toast but I don't know that it will allow you to build in fades. Maybe I'm missing something since I have yet to upgrade past Toast Titanium 5.2. I usually let the mastering engineer do fades or (if it's not being mastered) I just use Digital Performer.
 
If you're running OS9 try Waveburner Pro.

Sonic Solutions is supposed to be coming out with a standalone app for OSX, I'm still waiting ...

why in Steve Jobs name would i want to do something like that?
i use the last edition of mac OSX that they let me get before Tiger came out


*funky speach goes here* AACHHH and why would i want to change now? da Tiger is goot but.... this is here and i have my software and much more crap already here... *end of funky speach* so i am thinking that Jam looks good for the price and also on my linux box i will get an open source burner. all is well so far i guess

I'm running both, there some great software on OS9 that isn't available on OSX. For example SpectraFoo, and Waveburner (Waveburner is a more professional application than Jam IMHO).

There is a version of Waveburner for OSX, but you have to purchase Logic Pro in order to get it.
