I would like to mix down to cd. Does anyone know what the best cd burners are. Who makes the best. And are there any where you can burn more than 1 cd at a time. i need a stand alone burner not a drive for the computer .

TASCAM CDRW-5000. Use a computer CDR to burn fast copies. Multiple external burners are somewhat pricey.

Agree with Drstawl.........Tascam CD-RW5000 is super because it will record from any source. I use it to master my projects. I use my internal burner to make copies of the master I made on the Tascam.

I asgree with these guys. I have 2 of the TASCAM CD-RW5000 CD burners and have no bad reports to give. In fact I haven't made a CD-R that would not play on any player I have put them in.

Yo Blazer of Trails:

I am about to purchase the Alesis MASTERLINK 9600; price runs between 1499 to 1599 depending where you shop.

If I were you, I'd check this unit out because you will be able to connect about any type of two track stereo mix to it. It also has some software built in the adjust tracks and etc. Finally, it will burn a red book CD plus it even goes up higher in bits than Red Book.

I just feel the unit will support anything might want to burn from: analog or digital.

I've been doing research on the unit and have not yet heard any bad vibes.
