CD almost complete...

oh, strat,
i saw you're from atl.....have you heard of shut eye records(an atlanta indie label)? if so, any opinions? i'm supposed to be on one of their up coming compilations

...I listened to Love and War. I remember this one from the last time you put it up. Great tune! If there was one aspect of the tune that could be changed to get the biggest improvement mix-wise.... I think it might be the guitars. I think that might be the problem thats keeping the mix small. You might be able to salvage the existing tracks by bumping the upper mids a touch, but Im thinking if youve put this much work into the tune, you might as well try a retrack to get them the way you like em. They just hit me as a touch flat (not referring to pitch:) ) The vocs were a touch hot for my taste..... but that might be preference.

......This is a great tune man, I fully understand why youve dedicated so much work to it. .....and as i mentioned the last time you posted this........ Great Vocs!!!! g
 
great songs. i'll leave the sonics to the guru's. twisting in the wind was excellent. Maybe a little less vocal up front. The acoustic guitar sounded great. What guitar, recording chain/path/effects etc on that?
