I am having trouble setting up my casio as a midi controler. I would like to use my casio to control software instruments. I clic new track, software instrument. I pick out an instrument, but nothing happens when I use the keys on the casio, no midi data shows as being recorded. I have gotten it to work before...but only through some crazy way of trying who knows what. Now I can't get it to work at all.
I turned off the local on my casio and I am not sure if there is something I am doing wrong in logic but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all, I guess I don't need to tell you I am new to this...because I am posting in the newbies section.

consulted my logic manual for the 20th time and I hadn't set up the interface correctly...geezz so many things to learn
