Have you ever used one or currently using one? Just tryin to get a lil feedback on them. Im interested in the Casio CW-100. If im understanding it correctly it can print pictures/images on discs correct?

Thanks
Nicole

i have a cw-50, which is a step below those two. it seems like they are pretty similar from the product descriptions i've seen. you can do one color printing on suitable discs (it works best on thermal printable cd-r's, but to varying degrees of effectiveness on other types of cd-r's). the printable areas (at least on the cw-50) is limited to a top space about 2 1/2 inches in width and about 1 inch in height-- both guesstimates, on the top and bottom. it's good for simple printing-- i only tried printing text and i only used the top field, as my version makes you align the top and bottom manually. the ribbons state that they will print about 40 "areas," though i found that they would often print more-- sometimes up to 50.

Thanks for the reply. I just needed that for basic text on cds for artist who come in do a recording session and just need a copy of there track or for me to use when making beat demo cds to pass out. But once again thanks for dropping your knowledge on the Casio.

yeah-- it will work fine for that and i don't see why you couldn't just use the cw-50 if that's all you want to do with it. also if you use thermal printable cd-r's it reduces the number of "duds." inevitably, my experience has been that a few out of 50 or 100 will not print correctly (missing letters, or parts of letters).

I also have the CW-50.
I get on average 45 prints per ribbon an $10.00 each.
It looks better than a sharpie, but it will not print on all Cd's.
