Casio AP 220 and Cool edit pro

How do i set cool edit so it see's my casio ap-220 as a midi device so i can record ?

If I remember correctly Cool Edit Pro only allows midi playback and not midi recording.

Wow, that kinda sucks. Easy workaround would be to grab one of the many free programs that does record midi, then just export that and import it into cool edit. I've heard Jazz++ is pretty nice...and it's open source, if you're into that kind of thing.

Oh yea, good call there - Isn't Cool Edit Pro abandoned these days? Turned into Adobe Audition or something, if I recall correctly. Reaper could just be your new sequencer altogether, godutchie - there's practically nothing it can't do.
