Anyone know what model this might be, and if the mic is worth anything? Specifically 2 of them for $80 - awesome deal, good deal, reaasonable deal, or bad deal. I don't know anything about this brand.

That mic is not on their website.

I do like their products though, just ordered two "FAT HEADS"

Exactly. I haven't been able to find ANY black mics - at least condensors that shape - from that company. I emailed the seller, but thought someone here might be able to chime in quicker. Thanks, ray!

Those might be the M20. Contact Bayview Pro Audio. They are the exclusive importer/dealer in the US.

...M20 is correct...Bayview gave them away free as a promo item when you purchased more expensive products...I had one...your basic garden variety LDC Chinese mic...not bad, not particularly good either...
...now the Cascade V55 (built by sE Microphones), that's a keeper...if you see one of those cheap, GRAB IT!... ;)

I also had the M20 as a freebie from Bayview, although mine was like a dull aluminum color.... it was ok, I ended up giving it to my brother though. The top end wasn't nearly as hyped as other Chinese LDCs... I'd say if you need mics, you're on a budget, and you can score those for 80 bucks,I'd say do it. You'll find more uses for a pair of those than you will for just one.

Yeah, those are the older M20's. I got a free pair from Bayview a few years ago when I bought some gear. Same packaging as the photo above IIRC. I also got a free Cascade VX20 from Bayview with another purchase. I sold the M20 pair and still have the VX20. Why, I don't know. It's a horrible mic.

Andyhix!
What model number is written on the bodies of these mics? They look like M20's.
These are not on the Cascade website any longer as they have recently changed most of their microphone models, primarily ones that looked like sE mics.
If I remember correctly, Siwei Zou of sE Electronics was friends with the Cascade Mics manufacturer and was soon going to end the professional mic making relationship which would end the manufacturing of the sE lookalike models for Cascade.
I think that time has come based on what Cascade is selling now.
Only the V55 has that sE (Gemini) kind of look.
The Cascade M20u does look like an ADK, the new M137 looks like an MXL/NADY and their new ribbon looks like a NADY RSM-4
2 for $80 is not a bad deal.
