i recently picked up and carvin mx1688 mixer. i dont know wnaything about this mixer except its a 16x8x2 and its been heavily used. but i got a killer deal on it (traded a tascam us 122 for it straight up!) anything good about it, or absolutley terrible?

My experience is pretty good, though not with that particular model. You should be able to download a manual at www.carvin.com, and they have an excellent discussion board.
