All mics sound the same.
i have a pair of cardioid dynamics and i would like a pair of dynamic omnis. i'm guessing it's as simple as covering up the rear vents on the ball of the mic. any advice? anyone ever done this before?

If you do that, i guess you could call it omni, but it probably wont have a desirable response since the mic isn't optimised for that kind of use..
Maybe someone with more technical knowledge than me can give a better answer, but my advice is to pick up a cheap pair of Ev 635a mics, or pl9s or something..
