Okay here's a piano bit. It is the first thing I ever recorded. I used Audacity. For all of the "haters", I don't know what I am doing, I know this bit is probably goes in and out of tempo, I know I'm playing too fast, I know there's a ton of mess ups in my playing, etc. etc. etc. I just did this in one take and played through mistakes. Trying to dust some cob webs off my boogie woogie.

If you want to throw a guitar lick, drums, bass (if you can keep up) etc in there please feel free to do so. This is only for my own personal amusement. It doesn't go anywhere except my own ears, etc. If you can send me what you play between my licks I'd like to try and add it to audacity. I just downloaded audacity and I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing. If you add yourself on top of me some how send me that too so I can hear what it's supposed to sound like.

(Don't know how else to put the song file in this post but youtube)

I'm playing in G. It's just your basic progression: G C G D C G.

ITS FAST AND FUN.

P.S. Why does my piano sound so dry? Through my amp and monitor its sounds awesome. On the video it sounds junky.

I think you're a bit harsh on yourself. It sounds OK to me. It does sound like all the boogie woogie I've ever heard though, that tune with the bass part that so many 50s rock'n'roll songs had. It would be interesting to hear one that was inescapably boogie woogie, but which had such an odd chord progression as to be totally original.
I like the playing here though.

I like it.

Like John Mayall and countless others have said:

Let that boy boo-gee woo-gee!

I'll try. Send me what you got and let me know what your kinda lookin for and I'll do what I can.

before i do that, you know how to import the song into audacity, track the part, then send just the part you record, right? :o

not trying to be a dick, just want to make sure neither of us waste our time. i can help if you don't know how.

I meant it more in the big picture. Colaborate with musicians all over the world
