were you going for that vintage sound? If not i think it needs a little more low mids

The first song reminds me of the beatles.

We were going for the vintage sound, yeh. That's why we use instruments like mellotron, pump organ and optigan.

Tame the bass? It's really quite nicely compressed already - but what do you suggest?
