Can someone tell me about this 70's premier kit?

Looks goos but i have no idea about old premier kits, so can you fill me in. anything i should know? does it sound killer? Cheers

What you have there is a set of silver Premiers...made between 1970 and 1979.

Looks like it's from the old 5x series from the 60's, or perhaps a 70's 300 series or the Kenny Clare resonator based on the straight/disappearing bass drum spurs, one piece lugs on the tom and kick but paired lugs on the floor tom.

It also appears that the ride cymbal stand is clamped to the front hoop and not mounted in the drum itself...

These were stellar sounding drums for their day.... I've never played any this old, but I have an early 80's Premier kit with mahagony shells that is a great live and recording kit

I really liked the sound of those older Premier kits. If it is indeed from the 70s, I'd definitely bid on it! Cheers, Rez
