Can I safely connect an audio interface into a boss rc-300 looper

Hi,

Can i safely connect the outputs of a Steinberg ur-22 interface to a Boss rc-300 looper. Bit worried as I'm not sure whether it's designed to take that. I guess the auxiliary input is designed for ipods and stuff so it shoud be OK I guess.

I'm using the left jack input for guitar, so there is the right one free (regular full-size mono jack), and an aux input (small stereo jack)

So which one would I connect it to?

Many thanks

Short of massive input overloads, you can generally get away with some overload w/o harm.
Just start very low on the output side, and with min. setting on the input - that would set them to receive their maximum usable signal, and go slow.
Seems odd that 'inst in seems to be lower sensitivity than 'aux.

Hi there

Ok thanks for that. Yeah tried it as you said with volume down and there's no problem at all. I guess it's really just line out to line in, so not a problem.

Thanks a lot for the help and have a good xmas :)
