Hello people. Quick question.....I have a finished mix of the instrumental part of a song that I am doing. I have been doing the mix thru speakers. When I finally listened thru headphones, there was some buzz and noise in a few sections (I think it got in there when I was using a reverb patch) I don't really want to go back and do everything over. In any case I don't evev know if I could find the right track. I know I should be more organized....but that is another matter. Is there any way I can filter out that noise. I tried eq and I tried the 50 and 60 Hz hum canceler. The hum canceler seemed to help a little as did the eq. But I didn't really know what to do, except go with the presettings on the patches. Any ideas? I would really like to clean up those few sections. Thanks everybody.

Make sure that you don't have a problem with you headphone speakers or wire. Just a thought. I had a similar problem but in reverse. I noticed a popping sound through my PC speakers (this is before I bought some better monitors) that I didn't hear through headphones. I tried the eq and other effects to get rid of the popping noise and was ready to can the whole mix when I noticed that I didn't hear it through my headphones. So when I finally got better monitors, the noise went away.

Good luck.
