I have a little instramental that I did with a Boss Gt-3 and My 3 year olds Jr. Pacific drum set :D . I used a fostex 4 track, and for the drums I used a real cheap mic set about 6 feet away from the set. It is a suprize but it doesn't sound that bad for what it is. I only have one recording of it and I want to get it on the computer somehow and post it here to get an opinion on it. (I think it has some flavor to it).
I have a sony dual cassette and my mixer has RCA jacks for tape. Could I get some direction on this? thanx.
Oh, I have cubasis and a cd burner dvd writer in the computer.

ya, i make cds from my 4 track tapes all the time,. all you have to do is take the line out rca's from the 4 track(or if your 4 track is going into the mixer, use the tape out on the mixer) and go into the line in on your sound card,(you may have to get an adapter to make the rca cables fit the 1/8th inch input jack if your soundcard has that.) then open up a recording program, hit record and play the 4 track tape. then you just save it, or do whatever you want, mess with eq and reverb or do noise reduction, whatever, then burn it using your burning software. i do it a lot.
