I once was in a bikers-club which had been covered in plastic camouflage net here and there, whole seeling most of the walls etc...

They said it isolates noise and reduces echoing, I'm sure it helps somewhat.. What do you think??

It'd be a cool idea in a playing room. :D

Put it over your head and listen to a loud radio. It isolates nothing. It absorbs nothing. Its a NET. Good grief.

Fitz, are you actually suprised? I think weve had worse than that on here.

Im starting to use this forum for comedy... the same questions, same responce.

Is noone working on anything at the moment?

However, it probably IS nice and flammable. Might even make the front page! :D

If you're serious, I'm guessing you didn't acquire 114 rep points in this forum... :)

Hah :)

Yes, I kinda figured that it wouldn't muffle, BUT, I wasn't sure of the echoing, I mean, it WAS in a concrete basement, and I didn't notice echoing, drunk though.. The "net" was more like plastic-carpet shredded to palm-size pieces, not like a fishing net at all. Completely hiding the wall behind.

Dunno much about acoustics, but just figured it MIGHT deflect sound somewhat before and after bouncing the concrete. :(

...Don't kill me please... :D :D ...errare humanum est.

The camo netting used by the military doesn't burn. The stuff I was around didn't anyway. I've been thinking about getting some for the studio and change the name to Bunker Hill Recording or something stupid like that. :D
