I started to watch and you geys left! I had to stare at that Fender combo that's about to fall through the stand. WTF? :D

Naaah, the Cybertwin is well planted on the stand :) The stand looks cheesy but I've had heavier stuff on it before. Had my ampeg 4x12 on it for many years trying to mic it off the floor :)

Anyway, we ran out to get coffee and bagels... and right now my wife is making hamburgers. One gets hungry while working!

We'll be back up there at about 2pm est... about 30 minutes from this post. But, we're mudding the ceiling near the camera, so if you see very large eyeballs... lol

Amazingly enough, we've done the initial mudding of 80% of the room.

We've done the second mudding of about 60% of the room.

And... we taped about 75% of the room.

And I'm tired. *sigh*

Whats neat is after all this construction, I come downstairs with my lukewarm coffee, and see that my wife is gorgeous. I've been working so hard that I had almost forgotten !

Just be sure your wife sees that note you just posted!!!

After the emotional drain from your construction project, it would be a boost for her to know she has been in your thoughts (and having posted it you should get some major brownie points from her!!).

Have fun finishing the drywall. I hated doing it so much I broke down and paid someone to do it, so all I had to do was paint (much more satisfying).

Cheers,
Darryl.....

overhead mudding is draining. Lower isn't bad at all, even taping. For some reason, swiping my arms above my head for 4 hours is exhausting...

Yes, I got some brownie points... makes up for remembering her birthday a day late :(

Brownies... MMMMMmmmmmmm.

I actually got a handyman estimate earlier in the week to see how much it would cost to pay someone to finish mudding and filling in the screwheads. $700.

Um, no. It takes longer, but my cousin works for coffee, beer, and bagels :) Though next spring when they put in electrical at the perimeter of their yard... I know I'm going to be assigned that. Only fair, of course :)
