Hi Folks,
Here is a short A-B of the True theory mix of Players' Worktime trad in a stereo image analogous to a band on stage & with the RadRAMI early days of stereo treatment. I'd appreciate your thoughts on which is the better mix for this song. Ireally like both so will need to be lead on which ought to take precedence.

I gotta go with A....the B one has no guitar on the right side. Seems unbalanced that way. A is more balanced, and I think that makes the vocals sound really good. With B, things stick out a bit too much.

Vote A. Well balanced.

B has bass on the left and git on the right. Almost headache material. :)

A.

B is interesting but I've never cared a lot for the L/R hard panning "hyper-stereo" effect like in B, though some really like that. A sounds more real.

5 to blot for the centred version over the neo stereo. Ah, the Committee has spoken.
I'll reload the A version on soundclick where it will sit as testimony & monument to the one and only Camel Committee (another great adventure in mixing thanks to your suggestions & recommendations - one day I might even be able to post a mix that's almost ready - though I don't hold out much hope as I don't trust myself & even if I did I'd need confirmation).
Ido - I tried the tambourine but couldn't work out where to play it as the structure is so uhm, err - well you've heard it you know.
